Evolving Is A Lifelong Journey
Jan 26, 2024Evolving is a very strong word and the first thing that comes in our minds when we hear it is which area of our lives is evolving. Is it our personal or professional lives or even both? And then we begin to think about what is not evolving and possible reasons behind it. One can evolve in their loving relationships, in their finances, in their mental, emotional, physical, energetic health, goals, etc, hence the list is endless.
It is ironic yet interesting how our brains are wired as when thoughts come across our head we tend to think not only positive but also negative. However, it doesn’t necessarily have to be that way as we can ponder on a thought and then calmly flow with it without giving it too much attention or finding a particular reason behind something not evolving.
You might be asking yourself what has helped me in my evolvement, so here is a list of how I evolve spiritually:
- Energy medicine:
Energy medicine focuses on channelizing your energetic body and cleansing the cells, organs, mind etc as basically everything has energy. It is a process of cleansing and healing your energies which really helps in eliminating the toxins from the body. I have experienced that chakra cleansing and healing are very effective. Chakras are energetic centers in the body which correspond to nerves and organs. We have 7 chakras that include: the crown chakra, the third eye chakra, the throat chakra, the heart chakra, the solar plexus chakra, the sacral chakra and the root chakra. For quite some time my heart chakra was blocked as I could not process the fact that again I have cancer, but with consist chakra healing conducted by a professional (you can watch a video of it on my instagram account, vaswani.natasha) it is unblocked and I regularly cleanse my chakras. Energy medicine is so powerful that your hands automatically go to the organ or area of your body which needs to be cleansed and healed

Cellular cleansing with guided meditations:
As we all know, our minds and bodies are full of trillions or even more cells and without cells we would not be alive. All living organisms have DNA within their cells, and our DNA retains memory as well. Day by day there are more studies being conducted on how even emotions can be transmitted through our DNA when a woman is pregnant and how our DNA changes over time. Our cells too need to be taken care of as they retain cellular memory of past trauma or even good experiences. There are various guided meditations you can find on Youtube as well as relaxing music to cleanse and activate your cells through Alpha Waves

Connecting with nature:
I have posted various videos on how much I enjoy connecting with Mother Earth and will continue doing so. Nature has unlimited therapeutic energies and one can only derive positivity and gratitude from nature. Going for a walk to the park, sitting below a tree, enjoying the sun, going to the beach or the mountains are just some ways of enjoying all the nature around us. I feel when we connect with nature we become more light-hearted and disconnect from our problems. There isn’t one morning I don’t go for my walk to the park unless I am unwell, and I really cherish each moment of it

Inner child and adult healing:
Inner child healing has become a very common topic now and I am glad as we all need to validate and appreciate the little boy or girl in us, eventually we are all kids at heart. However, to connect with your inner child is not always easy and one needs to let go of their fears, insecurities, guilt, judgements etc to access their inner child. I had been connecting with my inner child for years until cancer re-entered my life and then I just couldn’t. I tried various techniques but I couldn’t until I realized that I need to forgive my adult self first before trying to love my inner child. My adult self had been holding on to a lot of betrayal as I felt I cheated myself for getting cancer again. 21 years ago when I first got cancer, I had made a promise to myself that I will take really good care of myself so that I never get it again. But when I got it again I felt as if I had betrayed myself and could not forgive myself for it until recently. And now I am conducting intense adult therapy on myself and it has helped me to forgive myself, let go, surrender to the situation, and accept the fact that it is a process of my present life and life is full of changes. So now, when I touch my heart chakra, I do not feel thorns but love. When I hug myself I feel gratitude and immense happiness instead of rejection and betrayal

Listening to zen music while I meditate:
Meditation is another very powerful tool as it helps you to assimilate a situation, stay grounded, be mindful and connect with your true being. Some cultures believe that one needs to reach a certain level in their meditation and then they believe themselves to be messengers of God or even God. While according to me, God is the Universe, the Almighty and meditating is connecting with our authentic self. Many scientific studies have proven that music is very therapeutic for the mind and body as it reduces anxiety, stress, depression and other low-energetic emotions. I find Zen music very relaxing as it improves my sleep, relaxes me, and helps me to connect with my core. There is one particular one I listen to and here is the link to it:

Touch therapy:
Touch therapy is exactly as it sounds but on a deeper level as when you are touching your body you are loving each cell, tissue, vein, organ, and chakra. You may have noticed that when we are stressed we tend to swell up and that is a defense mechanism our bodies create to protect us. There are various alternative medicines and techniques to deal with emotional body swelling issues such as chakra healing, pranic healing, reiki, etc. We shall see what works for us as each mind and body differs and what might work for you might not resonate with another person. When I practice the healing touch therapy which I practice regularly, I first add a bit of pressure starting from my foot and then ending on my head, and after that I start touching with love and caressing myself. The reason I add a bit of pressure is to give myself that security that I am there for myself and it boosts my confidence level

Qigong therapy:
Lastly, I also practice Qigong therapy for a few years and simply love it. I was trained by master Mantak Chia and this therapy elevates the energies within the mind, body and spirit. It involves both psychological and physical exercises to regulate the mind, breath, our body’s movements and correct our postures. I have seen great improvement in my own mind and body ever since I began practicing it. It is essential to activate the energy vortexes in the fingers so that it works and one is trained to derive energy from the gut and the heart
